hello all(:the holidays have started!
what do you wanna do during the holidays besides homework, projects and more huh?
well, of course have class outings right!
the class comm 08 would like to organize a class outing for you guys during this june holidays.
amidst the busy-ness and packed schedule that all of us have, perhaps we could take one day off just to enjoy ourselves and the company of the class(:
you do want a class outing right?
of course you do.
therefore, all you need to do is fill up this survey that informs us of your june holiday plans and your choices for the venue for the class outing and then we can get on with planning a lovely class outing for you guys(:
what's more, we even included the december holiday plans questions so that we can plan really really ahead for the december holidays!
it's alright if you cant be sure of your december holiday plans now but maybe you could just give us a rough idea or something yea.
there are also questions about a tentative class chalet at the end of the year so answer those too alright(:

hello allhowever happy you are about the end of tests and all, please remember the following things:
1. fill up the travel form
hand it up to me tomorrow
2. fill up the last four pages of your peer appraisal thing
bring it tomorrow
3. IHP FINAL PROPOSAL is due tomorrow
please remember to submit it to mr wong
and other things to remember:
- chemistry letter is due on the first friday of the june holidays
- math sets task to be done
- the load of chinese homework
- VIP shirt design and cheer competition (send in your entries by term 3 week 2)
should have others but they slipped out of my mind...feel free to add them in.

1. please remember to get your IP2 principle-parent-teacher meeting form signed and bring them tomorrow, 15th may. (now 16th may)*edit* i know that the form says 20th may but early collection would be better. thanks.
also please remind your parents (if they are coming for PPT meeting) to go onto the website: http://choice.vjc.sg/ to indicate which teachers they want to meet.
2. those who want to buy the chinese book "insert title here anyone as i forgot what the title is", remember to bring along $6.35 to pay for the book.

*IMPORTANT* Change of HISTORY Test DatesIn light that Vesak Day falls on the Monday 19 May, we will not be having the end of term history test on that day.
The new test date will be on Thursday, 22 May from 2pm to 3pm. LT3
Format of the test will be
A) 1 Source Based Question (Compulsory)
B) 1 Short essay (Choice from 2 questions)
Questions will be based on the reading materials provided on Blackboard.
Further details will be given during lecture.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LANGUAGE ARTS.1. this is for next monday's language arts lesson:
everyone is to find one advertisement from anywhere.
the advertisement can on ANYTHING, from ANYWHERE and on WHATEVER. it doesnt have to be related to language arts whatsoever. however, the advertisement should only be a photo/picture/poster kind.
then assign someone from your seating group to collate all the advertisements chosen by EACH MEMBER OF THE GROUP.
put ALL the advertisements onto powerpoint slides and BRING THE SLIDES ON MONDAY IN A THUMBDRIVE.
so if you're still not clear, here's an example.
for instance, i like the nike poster advertisment as seen below:
i pass it to whoever's in charge of collating the advertisements for my group.
then that person puts each advertisement on one slide in powerpoint:
the powerpoint NEED NOT BE AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. there is no point in making it really nice, really.
and then that person brings this powerpoint in a thumbdrive to school on MONDAY for language arts lesson.
yep.
2. the L.A. test will be on WEEK 9, MONDAY.
topics will most probably be science and politics.
